• There are several restaurants in our neighbourhood, both relatively cheap as well as (very) good and more expensive ones:
  Herberg De Engel and Restaurant De Altena. Kerkplein 10 in Hemmen offers workshops, group events and wedding arrangements.
• Our area is famous for walking and cycling. Especially recommended when the fruit orchards are flowering! Several signposted routes run near us and bicycles can be hired in the village of Dodewaard. The 'tourist corner' of our living room has maps, guides and brochures on cycling, walking and many cultural activities in the neighbourhood.
• Arnhem and Nijmegen are a mere 20 minutes away, as well as National Park Hoge Veluwe with its worldfamous Kröller-Müller Museum in 30 minutes.
